Release 6.02 features an additional print option called "Windows Printer". By selecting this from the Print Spooled Reports screen you can direct reports to local or network printers through the windows print dialog screen. Before you can use this feature you must activate it on each workstation:

Use explorer or "my computer" to find the quantum rm/cobol directory. Remember it may be called something else on your system -- you can check the properties of your Quantum icon to find out for certain. Inside the "rmcobol" directory you will want to find and double-click an item called "Rmconfig.exe". The following screen should appear:

Click the Miscellaneous Tab at the top of this screen and then you will change one option's values from False to True:

Make certain you locate the property "Printer Dialog Always" and set it's custom setting to TRUE. Click OK, Reboot the PC and then try the Quantum windows printing. |
