Quantum's H/R module will enhance your organization's ability to attract, select, efficiently employ, compensate and track your most valuable asset --- satisfied and well-placed employees. The Human Resources module will assist you in managing a growing amount of employee information in an increasingly complex environment of legal and statutory requirements and regulations. The software expedites placement, promotion, benefit and compensation processing.
The H/R module is an excellent complement to Quantum's Payroll module. Payroll is considered more "transactional" in nature while the H/R module deals more with the management of employee information. Quantum is one of only a few software solutions in today's marketplace that offer an H/R module that is fully integrated with it's own Payroll and General Ledger modules.

The employee demographics screen is the same on used by the Payroll system. Information entered through either module updates the same central employee file. Quantum tracks:

| Licenses and Permits |
Quantum allows you to define and track any number of licenses and permits that relate to each employee. The system tracks each record's license number and expiration date (if relevant). Many clients have also used this part of H/R to note employee TB test results and next scheduled test.
Quantum provides you with a License Expiration report that prints employees who have licenses and permits that either have expired or are due to expire soon.

| Company Property |
Quantum allows you to define an unlimited number of items that may be issued to employees. It tracks when each item was issued, it's value, when it was returned and the condition it was in. Items typically tracked include employee handbooks, credit cards, pagers, cell phones, laptop computers, keys, etc.

| Benefit Administration |
H/R assists in tracking and reporting of benefits by type and plan. These are user-defined codes and can include group health, dental, retirement and major medical plans. Reports inlcude Employee Benefit Statements, Enrollments by Plan, and Employee Benefit Profiles.

| Position Administration |
In creating positions within the structure of your organization, H/R implements authorization and financial control procedures through Pay Grade and Step tables. The H/R department will define attributes associated to each position including status, headcount, annual budget, funding source, title, job requirements and supervisor. Reports include Vacant Position listings, Headcount reports, Position Budget Analysis reports, Position Requirements listings, and Grade/Step table lists.

H/R Related Reports |
H/R maintains a database of applicant information and allows you to identify qualified candidates by comparing applicant information with job requirements. Demographic information, prior employment history, qualifications, references, pre-employment test results and results of interviews are all recorded.
| Employee Reviews |
Quantum lets you schedule and maintain employee pay and performance review records. The results of each review are also recorded and can be accessed by only individuals with proper security clearance.
Performance reviews let you rate employees based on user-defined criteria such as attitude, accuracy, efficiency, general appearance, etc.

Geneva developed an Employee Training sub-module that allows users to define an unlimited number of training courses and seminars, define instructors, and training subjects. The system streamlines enrollment into courses and provides for a mass-update of hours credited for everyone in the course. Employee histories of training and license renewal activities can be queried for any range of dates. The system also provides several reports:
