Mercy is based in Pittsburgh and has successfully migrated from CMHC/MIS accounting to the Quantum financial solution. Geneva also replaced their Representative Payee quickbooks system with Quantum's Client Fund Management system. The implementation process involved:

- converting and translating the CMHC G/L accounts and history
- importing budgets from spreadsheet
- converting payroll employee information (approximately 1700 employees) into Quantum
- implementing a SQL based financial reporting system
- interfacing with APTechnology's AcuPrint check printing software
- convert H/R employee information
- user designed financial statements (cash flow statements, balance sheet, income statements)
- onsite and webex based end user training

"My feelings before the implementation of Quantum was one of shear panic. I had been with the previous payroll system for about 20 years so I was leery about changing. However, along came Linda from Geneva who was very patient. We ran several mock payrolls and she tried her best to build up my confidence which, eventually, she did. I will admit I was very nervous for the first several payrolls but it is getting better with each payroll I run. I thas also eased my workload in certain areas. There were several things I previously had to manually work out on paper prior to doing the payroll and they have been eliminated making the process much more efficient."

| Mercy also used this implementation process as an opportunity to review "Best Practices" for their organization. The organization's chart of accounts was redesigned and Reporting Units were renumbered based on what made sense to today's reporting needs. Geneva has also implemented several solutions that have streamlined processes, eliminated manual spreadsheet preparations and customized Quantum where it made sense to do so. |
