The Geneva Software Company was formed in 1990 by Tom Vincent in Greensboro, North Carolina. The company started as a support organization for customers using MCBA classic software in accounting, distribution and manufacturing environments. Geneva's specialty was customizing each client's software according to their specific needs without altering the "dna" of the MCBA product. This approach ensured that there would be only one commercial off-the-shelf core to the MCBA product with customer-specific modifications residing outside.

In 1994 an opportunity to partner with Uni/Care presented itself to Geneva. Uni/Care, based in Sarasota Florida, is a provider of clinical billing and managed care software to behavioral and mental healthcare organizations around the country. Geneva was tasked with providing the "back office" financial accounting modules to Uni/Care's clients all around the country. Geneva's partnership with Uni/Care worked out very well as we integrated the General Ledger with their billing A/R module and began introducing many features into our software needed in that specific environment.

During this time of growth and expansion we were also busy developing custom systems for our distribution and manufacturing clients. Such systems included an Environmental Lab Results Tracking and Billing System, A Manufacturing Production Scheduling System, Custom Order Entry module for a Board Lamination manufacturing plant and a specialized billing system for a Tradeshow Exhibitor Services firm in Philadelphia. In 1998 Geneva began converting all clients to the windows based version of the software -- now called Quantum. As we began moving mental health organizations to this new environment we received inquiries from users outside of the Uni/Care client base. Geneva installed Quantum at two sites in North Carolina that were using software written by Creative Socio-Medics. These customers confirmed that Quantum was well-scaled to their environment, had the features they were looking for and was very affordable compared to other packages they were reviewing.

In 1999 Geneva began a marketing relationship with Creative Socio-Medics out of Islip New York. Geneva integrated Quantum to CSM's billing system called AVATAR. CSM was the first clinical billing software provider to supply a truly windows based system and we have proven to be an excellent fit for them as well.

The Geneva Software Company is one of the most successful Quantum software vendors in the world. We have been recognized as a leader in customizing Quantum to fit specific needs and we have the distinction of being the first vendor to integrate Quantum with a customer's website using IBM Websphere, java server page programming and Db2 datafiles. The most important aspect to Geneva's success is clearly our ability to support our clients in their time of need. Customer Support is the foundation of this company.
